Things to do in Uppal & Habsiguda

Uppal, on Hyderabad's eastern side, means cricket. The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is the home ground of the Hyderabad Cricket Association and of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, and it hosts India's Tests, one-dayers and T20 internationals when the city gets a fixture. On match days the Blue Line is the sensible way in, because Stadium station is beside the ground and the roads around the Uppal ring road are closed to parking. Away from cricket, the area has a smaller branch of the Shilparamam crafts village and neighbourhood festival grounds. The Blue Line ends one stop further east at Nagole.
