Art Exhibitions & Gallery Events in Hyderabad

Hyderabad's art scene is anchored by one great museum and a ring of galleries. The Salar Jung Museum in the Old City holds the collection of Salar Jung III, from the marble Veiled Rebecca to miniatures and Bidriware, and runs temporary exhibitions; it is closed on Fridays. The State Gallery of Art in Madhapur shows painting, sculpture and photography by Telangana artists. Private galleries cluster in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, led by Kalakriti Art Gallery on Road No. 10, where openings are free evening events. Lamakaan hosts small exhibitions and art fairs, Shilparamam shows craft traditions at work, and HITEX brings the AD Design Show on 11–13 December 2026.
