Things to do in LB Nagar & Dilsukhnagar

The south-eastern end of the Red Line serves a large residential belt along the Vijayawada highway. Dilsukhnagar is a shopping and coaching-centre hub with temples that draw heavy crowds during Dasara and Ganesh Chaturthi, and the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium and its grounds host sports meets, exhibitions and festive melas. Function halls and open grounds in Kothapet and Vanasthalipuram run dandiya nights, community Bathukamma and school carnivals. LB Nagar, the last metro station, is also the jumping-off point for Ramoji Film City, about 20 km further out on the highway, with buses and cabs waiting outside the station.
