Kids & Family Events in Hyderabad

The events below are this week's picks for children and families in Hyderabad: workshops, storytelling and puppet shows, science days, carnivals, children's theatre and holiday camps, refreshed daily. Around them, the city has a strong set of standing outings. Nehru Zoological Park at Bahadurpura, about 380 acres with safaris and a nocturnal house, is closed on Mondays. The B.M. Birla Science Centre near Lakdikapul has a planetarium, a science museum, a dinosaur gallery and a space museum under one roof. Shilparamam in Madhapur lets children watch potters and weavers at work, and boats cross Hussain Sagar to the Buddha statue from Lumbini Park. Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolarum opens its gardens and stepwells to booked visitors from Tuesday to Sunday. For full days out there are Ramoji Film City and the Wonderla amusement and water park on the Outer Ring Road. Malls such as Inorbit, Sarath City Capital and Lulu run free craft sessions and festive carnivals in school holidays. In January the calendar adds Numaish at Nampally and the kite festival at Parade Grounds. Check age limits and whether an adult ticket is needed on each listing.
