Numaish 2027: Hyderabad's All India Industrial Exhibition
Numaish, the All India Industrial Exhibition, runs every year from 1 January to 15 February at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally, and the 2027 fair will be its 86th edition. It began in 1938 at Public Gardens with about 50 stalls, an idea of the Osmania Graduates Association, and moved to its present 23-acre ground in 1946. Today more than a thousand traders from across India set up for 46 days, selling Kashmiri shawls and dry fruits, Lucknowi chikan, handlooms, carpets, crockery, furniture and gadgets, alongside food courts, an amusement zone and a toy train. The 85th edition in 2026 charged โน50 for entry, with children under five free, and was announced as open from 4 pm to 10:30 pm on weekdays and until 11 pm on weekends and holidays; organisers expected more than 23 lakh visitors. The All India Industrial Exhibition Society usually confirms the fee and timings for the new edition in late December, and those for 2027 had not been published when this page was written. Gandhi Bhavan and Nampally stations on the Red Line are a short walk from the gates. This page lists Numaish-related events, competitions and special days.

Good to know
- Take the Red Line to Gandhi Bhavan or Nampally. Police divert traffic around the grounds every evening during the fair.
- Go on a weekday and enter soon after the gates open; weekends and the final ten days are the most crowded.
- Carry cash in small notes along with UPI, and bargain at the clothing, carpet and dry-fruit stalls.
- Fix a meeting point at the entrance. The lanes look alike and mobile networks slow down inside.
- Each year brings rumours of an extension. In 2026 the fair closed on schedule on 15 February.
