Hyderabad Literary Festival 2027

The Hyderabad Literary Festival returns for its seventeenth edition on 22, 23 and 24 January 2027, a Friday to Sunday, at Sattva Knowledge City on Inorbit Mall Road, near Raidurg. It is the fourth year in a row at this venue, according to the festival's official site. HLF is free and open to all. Visitors register through an online form that opens closer to the dates; passes are personal and non-transferable, and children over six need their own registration. Over three days the festival runs parallel sessions across several stages: conversations with Indian and international authors, panels on fiction, non-fiction, translation and public affairs, poetry readings, workshops, film screenings, exhibitions and evening performances, with strands for children and young adults. Each year features a guest nation and an Indian language in focus, which the organisers announce with the programme. Publishers and booksellers set up stalls, and authors sign books after their sessions. Raidurg, the last station on the Blue Line, is the nearest metro stop.
