About Exhibition Grounds, Nampally
The Exhibition Grounds at Nampally, about 23 acres beside the Hyderabad Deccan railway station, are the home of Numaish, the All India Industrial Exhibition. The fair began in 1938 at Public Gardens with about 50 stalls, an idea of the Osmania Graduates Association's economic committee, and moved here in 1946. It runs every year from 1 January to 15 February, organised by the All India Industrial Exhibition Society. The 85th edition in 2026 had more than 1,000 stalls, charged ₹50 for entry with children under five free, and was announced as open from 4 pm to 10:30 pm, and until 11 pm on weekends and holidays. Outside those 46 days the grounds host trade fairs, sales exhibitions and public events.
