Things to do in Nampally

Nampally is central Hyderabad's fairground. The Exhibition Grounds host Numaish, the All India Industrial Exhibition, from 1 January to 15 February every year, with more than a thousand stalls, food courts and rides, and the same grounds take trade fairs, book sales and circus runs in other months. Public Gardens next door holds the Telangana State Museum, the open-air Lalitha Kala Thoranam and the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, used for folk festivals, film screenings and government cultural weeks, and Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University has an auditorium of its own. Nampally and Gandhi Bhavan stations on the Red Line are a few minutes' walk from the exhibition gates.
