Holi 2027 in Hyderabad: Parties & Events

Holi falls on Monday 22 March 2027, with Holika Dahan the evening before, and because it lands on a Monday most ticketed parties in Hyderabad will spread across the weekend of 20 and 21 March as well as the day itself. The city's Holi events are organised affairs. Resorts, farmhouses and convention lawns around Gandipet, Moinabad, Kompally and Shamirpet host large colour festivals with DJs, rain dances, dhol players and food counters; clubs and hotels in Jubilee Hills, HITEC City and Gachibowli run pool parties and brunches; and housing societies, the Marwari and Gujarati communities of Begum Bazaar and Secunderabad, and cultural associations hold their own gatherings with thandai and gujiya. Many parties sell family zones and children's tickets alongside general entry. Late March is already hot in Hyderabad, with afternoons in the mid-30s, so most events start by 9 or 10 am and wind down by mid-afternoon. In past years the police have issued Holi orders restricting the throwing of colour on unwilling people and on the roads, and curbing liquor sales for part of the day.
