Things to do in Shamshabad, Airport & South ORR

The southern arc of the Outer Ring Road, from the airport at Shamshabad to Raviryal, is where Hyderabad puts events that need space. Hotels and open-air grounds in the airport city host large concerts, weddings and corporate offsites. Wonderla, the amusement and water park at Raviryal, runs seasonal carnivals and New Year parties. Further south at Meerkhanpet in Kandukur mandal, the state's Bharat Future City is the venue for the Invest Telangana Global Summit on 7–9 December 2026 and for Hyderabad Comic Con on 11–13 December 2026, its first edition away from HITEX. No metro reaches this belt, so plan on a cab or your own vehicle.
