Things to do in Ramoji Film City

Ramoji Film City at Abdullapurmet, on the Vijayawada highway east of Hyderabad, is a working film studio of about 2,000 acres that also runs as a theme park. Guinness World Records recognised it in 2005 as the world's largest film studio complex. Day visitors take bus tours of the permanent sets, gardens and the Baahubali sets, and the park stages festive seasons of its own for Dasara, Diwali, winter holidays and New Year's Eve, with live shows and evening carnivals. Its open grounds have also been used for stadium-scale concerts. Allow a full day; the nearest metro is LB Nagar, with buses and cabs from there.
