About Shilparamam
Shilparamam is a 65-acre arts and crafts village in Madhapur, opened in 1998 to give artisans from across India a place to sell and to keep traditional crafts in view. Stalls sell handlooms, Pochampally and Gadwal weaves, Bidriware, Kondapalli toys, pottery and jewellery. A rural museum recreates village life with more than fifteen life-sized huts of clay and thatch, and a rock garden uses the Deccan boulders on the site. The open-air stages host folk and classical performances most weekends, and the village builds programmes around Sankranti, Ugadi, Bathukamma and Dasara. Third-party guides list hours of 10:30 am to 8 pm with a modest entry fee; confirm both at the gate.
