The Parade Grounds are Secunderabad's great open maidan, beside the Jubilee Bus Station and the Gymkhana cricket ground. The state's Republic Day and formation day parades are held here, and the grounds are the venue for Telangana Tourism's International Kite and Sweet Festival, which ran from 13 to 15 January in 2026 with kite flyers from 19 countries and was followed by a hot-air balloon festival. Trade exhibitions, large public meetings and sports events use the grounds through the rest of the year. Getting here is simple: Parade Ground on the Blue Line and JBS Parade Ground on the Green Line form an interchange right next to the maidan.
