About NTR Stadium
NTR Stadium is a large open ground on Indira Park Road, across from Indira Park and a short distance from the lower Tank Bund. It is not a seated stadium but a maidan that organisers fit out with temporary halls and stalls. Its best-known tenant is the Hyderabad Book Fair, run by the Hyderabad Book Fair Society and usually held in December; the 37th edition ran here from 19 to 29 December 2024, open from noon to 9 pm, under the venue name Telangana Kala Bharathi. Through the rest of the year the ground hosts handloom and trade exhibitions, community festivals, religious gatherings and public meetings. Dates for the December 2026 book fair had not been announced when this page was written.
