About Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC)
The Hyderabad International Convention Centre opened in 2006 next to the HITEX exhibition grounds and is managed with the adjoining Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre hotel. Its main hall is a pillar-less space of 6,480 sq m that can hold a plenary for 6,000 delegates or be partitioned into six smaller halls, and the centre lists 37 breakout rooms. That makes it the city's usual address for medical and technology congresses, industry summits, investor meets and large corporate conferences. The public mostly comes for ticketed events: big-name concerts and stand-up specials, designer and jewellery exhibitions, wedding shows and New Year's Eve galas. The Novotel has 287 rooms for delegates staying on site.
