HITEX, short for Hyderabad International Trade Expositions, is the city's main exhibition complex, at Izzat Nagar between Madhapur and Kondapur. It has four column-free halls. Halls 1 to 3 are 3,500 sq m each and Hall 4 is 8,000 sq m, with a 5,000 sq m lawn and about 35,000 sq m of paved open space for outdoor events. Check whether a show is trade-only or open to the public, and whether you need to register online before arriving. The halls are a long walk from the outer gates. Note which hall your event is in and use the nearest entrance. Cabs are hard to get when a big show closes for the day. Book early or walk out towards the main Kondapur road.
